Become a District Independent Contractor

The District partners with independent contractors to enhance our recreational offerings and provide specialized services to our community. Please review the Independent Contractor Handbook for more information on the process for becoming part of our team.

Compensation: Instructors are paid a percentage of the registration collected for their class. This percentage is negotiated for each contract. For example, instructors could receive 60% of the registration fee collected for their class and the District would retain 40% for the use of its public facilities.

• Certification required
• Contract required
• Insurance – a Certificate of General Liability is required
• Processing Fee: $60.00
• Prescreen – successful completion of Controlled Substance Test, Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Background Questionnaire
