Membership

Desert Recreation District membership is no longer required to participate in programs or for facility use. Facility use passes to access the gymnasium, track, and weight rooms are available for purchase as shown below. Acceptable proof of residency (e.g. current utility bill) and photo ID required for membership.

$50 other district residents
$120 non-district residents

Fitness Centers

Looking for a convenient and affordable place to exercise? Then our Palm Desert and Indio community centers may be for you. Both facilities have full-size gymnasiums, weight and aerobic equipment, and racquetball courts. Our Indio facility also features an elevated jogging track. Membership also includes the added benefit of discounts on many classes and programs.

The Fitness Center features:
Fully equipped weight rooms, stair climbers, tread mills, indoor jogging/walking track, racquetball courts, regulation basketball courts, showers and lockers.

Fees: District membership or $5 daily walk-in fee required.

Walk-ins must sign an “assumption of risk” form.
Use of these facilities is at one’s own risk.
Please bring your own towel and water bottle.

Hours of Operation:
Mon-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday & Holidays closed.
