Desert Recreation District has something for everyone. Take a class, play some golf, learn something new, but most of all have some fun. See what The District has in store for you. District membership is required for most programs. Fees listed are member rates. Non-members may participate for an additional charge.

Community Centers

Palm Desert Community Center & Gymnasium
Hours: M-F 6 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sat 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

La Quinta Community Center
Hours: M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Two large multi-purpose rooms (that can be opened to create one extra large multipurpose room), one small multi-purpose room, tables, chairs, kitchen, concessions, amphitheatre, outdoor picnic pavilions and exercise equipment.

Portola Community Center

Indio Community Center & Gymnasium
