 Horsemanship - Fall 2008

INTRODUCTION TO HORSEMANSHIP

Giddy-up! This class is the ideal place to begin riding a horse. It’s a fun 6-week program with one 2-hour group lesson each week during the school year. In a relaxed ranch setting, you’ll learn beginning horsemanship skills in English Hunt Seat and Western Pleasure disciplines. Learn safety tips, horse care and handling, and equipment and tack use. You’ll spend increased time riding a horse each week. Graduates of the program may continue with group or private lessons with the instructor.

Dates:  Tuesdays September 30 – November 4
Wednesdays October 1 – November 5
Times: 4 - 6 p.m.
Ages:  7 — 18 years old
Fees: $120 per session


ENGLISH HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS

Tally-Ho! Learn to ride English “Hunt Seat” style. Group or private lessons are available from beginner to advanced. You’ll progress from flat work to jumping, and will learn other disciplines like Dressage, Natural Horsemanship, Western Pleasure and Polo. It’s the perfect class for the horse-riding enthusiast!

Fees: Group $45, 1 hour private $65, 1/2 hour private $45
