The First Tee
The First Tee is an initiative of the World Golf Foundation. Its mission is to impact the lives of children by providing learning facilities and educational programs to promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. On January 14, 2008, The First Tee of The Coachella Valley celebrated its grand opening at The Golf Center at Palm Desert. We are proud to offer this exciting program to the children of the Coachella Valley. There is a $100 annual registration fee for this program. Financial assistance is available for children who qualify.

First Tee Summer Golf Camp
Summer Golf Camp is open to all members of The First Tee of The Coachella Valley. We will be learning core values and life skills along with the lifelong game of golf. There will be guest speakers and field trips to ensure a fun-filled experience for everyone! The cost of camp for The First Tee Coachella Valley members is $20 for the week to cover the cost of snacks and supplies. If full day programming is needed, afternoon camps and transportation are available at extra charge. This program is for all playing levels.

Little LINKSTeR
It’s the perfect class to introduce your little one to the basic concepts of playing golf. Designed by The First Tee program uses large, safe plastic equipment to teach kids the skills needed to play the game. They are also taught basic life skills that will make a positive impact on their game and their personal character. It’s a fun class that is sure to be the beginning of life-long enjoyment for the game of golf.
