Off the Hook Summer Drop-in Program

Drop-in the fun is off the hook! No school and no worries five afternoons a week right after summer school. Your child will have action-packed activities and creative projects to enjoy each day like the SPARKS and CVRPD’s Adventure in Peacemaking Programs. Once your child drop-ins, he or she won’t want to drop-out because they’ll be hooked on fun! Have them bring a sack lunch.
Days: Monday – Friday
Dates: Session 1: June 16 – July 3
Session 2: July 7 – 25
Time: 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 – 11 years
Location: Indio Community Center
Fee: $150 per session
Location: Thousand Palms Community Center*
Fee: $40 per session
*A+ Programs are designed with inclusion in mind. Inclusion is a PLUS at CVRPD. The District is committed to creating and cultivating programs that offer children with special needs the ability to participate in a variety of recreation and enrichment activities. Just look for the A+ sign in our brochure.

Kids Clubs

Great fun 5 afternoons a week! At Kids Club your children have action-packed activities and creative projects to enjoy every weekday. We are committed to uniting your community by providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child’s positive development. There’s fun for all ages.
Locations: Indio Housing Development Corporation Apts., Plaza Del Sol Apts., 2nd Baptist Church (Burr St. Kids Club) Coachella: Las Casas Apts. Mecca: Paseo De Los Heroes Mobile Home Park
Days: Monday – Friday
Dates: On-going monthly
Times: 1– 5 p.m.
Ages: 5 – 18 years
Fees: FREE
Requires: Kids Clubs is for children who live in the complexes. Burr St. Kids Club is for children that live in the neighborhood.




Circus Extravaganza

Now you don’t have to run off to join the circus! Here’s a non-competitive class where you can learn circus skills like plate spinning, or juggling with scarves, bean bags and balls. Fly through the air on a single bar trapeze. Discover the magical adventure and art-form of the circus. Instruction and skills are based on each person’s ability.

Days: Fridays
Dates: Session 1: June 6 – 27
Session 2: July 11 – August 1
Times: 3 – 4 p.m.
Ages: 5 years and older
Fees: $30 per session
